FAQS
I’m Here for You
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY FIRST SESSION?
Beth, your colon hydrotherapist, will go over your health history, explain how the colonic will be administered, and answer all of your questions before getting started. Your colon hydrotherapist will then leave the room so that you can change into your disposable gown and lie on the table, covered by the disposable drape sheet. Beth will then return to the room to administer the colonic. She will be there the entire time, to talk you through the process if you have more questions. When the colonic begins, you will feel a very slight pressure of warm water entering through the rectum. When the pressure begins to feel somewhat urgent, as if you need to have a bowel movement, you will let the colon hydrotherapist know. Once you let her know, she will then reverse the water, so that the water and stool exits through the tube and into the machine. You will not smell anything as it exits through the closed tube. As the waste exits, you will begin to feel less urgency and more comfortable. When you feel comfortable again, you will let Beth know and she will then turn the warm water on again. This cycle will repeat throughout the 45 minutes until it is time to finish the colonic and go to the commode.

WHAT HAPPENS IF STOOL DOESN'T COME OUT RIGHT AWAY DURING THE COLONIC?
If stool doesn't come out within the first few minutes, it means that the colon is congested, the stool is very dry and stuck to the lining of the intestine. This is very common. The colon hydrotherapist will send you to the bathroom after several water fills in order for gravity to help assist the process. You will then have the choice to return to the table or finish your colonic. Only one reinsertion is allowed per visit.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY FIRST TREATMENT?
It is best to do a saline water enema before your first colonic in order to loosen excessively hard fecal matter. If you don't feel comfortable performing an enema, you can take magnesium citrate the night before which will also help you have a good bowel movement before the colonic. This will help ensure that you have a successful colonic, where you are able to release all of the stools inside the colon.
